Experts in
compliance

BRUKL & EPC?

We are accredited low carbon energy assessors for new build domestic buildings and all types of non-domestic buildings in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

A real statement for planning

Energy statements

You’re building may comply with the energy requirements but does it also tick the boxes for the local authority?

We provide our Clients with the necessary information to navigate the planning process.

Modelling to create cooler buildings

Overheating - TM52 & Part O

You’re new building (domestic and non-domestic) needs to demonstrate that it does not become excessively hot during warmer weather.

Our team assesses the risk and if it overheats, we will find a cost effective solution to achieve compliance.

The future is decarbonised

Heat decarbonisation plans

We assess your current energy use and develop a clear and concise roadmap on how your organisation can reduce running costs and carbon emissions. Typically this involves replacing old fossil fuel heating with low-carbon alternatives like heat pumps.

We take care of the entire process for you - including making applications for government funding.

Specialists in
BREEAM credits

Modelling for comfort, energy and carbon reduction

BREEAM is a leading sustainability assessment method which is often chosen to demonstrate how buildings achieve sustainability policies and targets.

We take care of the modelling and reporting associated with the following credits:

  • HEA 01 - Visual Comfort

  • HEA 04 - Thermal Comfort

  • ENE 01 - Reduction of energy use and carbon emissions

  • ENE 04 - Low carbon design

Efficient equipment by calculation

Heating and cooling loads

Accuracy is key to ensuring your heating and cooling equipment is not under or oversized. Both scenarios effect performance and energy efficiency.

We create a digital twin of your building and accurately calculate what it actually needs for comfort.

Modelling daylight
For a brighter future

Daylight analysis

Schools need to demonstrate that enough natural daylight is available in learning and staff areas to ensure visual comfort and to reduced dependency on artificial lighting.

We carry out Climate Based Daylight Modelling (CBDM) to predict the illuminance levels in occupied spaces. Early stage engagement is important to make informed decisions on building location and orientation, building form and configuration i.e. depth of classrooms.

If there is a shortfall, we will offer consultancy advice on how to comply with the Department for Educations requirements.
